About Attorney Joshua Merseal

Joshua originally from Illinois, spent his early years moving across Illinois, Florida, and Missouri. In 1998, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving honorably as a Rifleman until 2002. Shortly after, he continued his commitment to service by joining the United States Army in 2003, where he trained and worked as an Air Traffic Controller at Fort Rucker, Alabama. While in the Army, he also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 2007.

Following his military service, Joshua set his sights on the legal field and relocated to Laramie, Wyoming, where he attended the University of Wyoming College of Law. During law school, he interned with the Albany County Attorney’s Office, later becoming a Deputy County Attorney after passing the Wyoming State Bar in 2010.

In 2015, Joshua founded Merseal Law, LLC, opening his private practice with a focus on criminal law, family law, expungements, and civil matters. He has also served as the Laramie Municipal Court Judge (2015–2017) and Rawlins Municipal Court Judge (2017–2019), further reinforcing his reputation for fairness, legal precision, and a deep understanding of the judicial process.
